Pindimar House
Our clients were seeking a place that would provide a playful weekend retreat on a suburban lot along the edge of a natural harbour some 200km north of Sydney. The project provides a camping-like experience with the comfort of modern living. The house is sited to screen the neighbouring dwellings and ensure the survival of the remnant forest. It is organised into two pavilions positioned either side of the raised platform - a living wing that can be completely opened to the platform and a more private sleeping wing.
